Scope of work Brief Description of the Works
The work comprises of construction and maintenance of buildings and external services. The buildings are reinforced concrete with block wall.
All works shall be carried out in accordance with the drawings and specifications issued for the purpose.
Description of the Site
The Al Khor Park, Project, is located at the existing at Al Khor and comprises the area
as identified on site layouts.
Detailed Description of the works
Demolition Works
1. Demolition Works for the project comprise of dismantling of existing Administration &
Restaurant building, substation & chiller yard, toilets, water bodies, play equipments
and gazebos within the WORKSITE. Dismantling and removal of existing paving,
benches drinking fountains, light posts, and other redundant features, clearing the
WORKSITE of waste material and debris and other miscellaneous site preparation
works are also included. CONTRACTOR shall prepare and obtain approval for the
Method Statement of Demolition Works.
2. For road access connection, CONTRACTOR shall carryout dismantling of existing road, paving and car parking to the extent identified in the drawings.
3. General works
General works include,
a. Restaurant building of approx. 1425.5 m2.
b. Mosque building approx. floor area of 452.4m2
c. Three public toilets of area 120.27 m2 each.
d. Two kiosks of 28.27m2 each.
e. Two ticket booths of 27.38 m2 each.
f. A museum of area 1176 m2.
g. An animal farm of area 1335 m2.
h. A Bird’s Aviary of area 2936 m2.
i. An Amphitheatre of area 158m2.
j. Two Administration blocks of 97m2 each.
k. Gazebos, and Shaded canopy type structures for Children’s play area.
l. Hard and Soft landscaping and other infrastructure works.
m. Internal roads, railway tracks, parking areas and skating areas
4. Site Preparation Works
a. Erect temporary enclosure, hoardings to isolate and identify the WORKSITE
construction area. Provide and install night lighting and secure the WORKSITE as required by PWA.
b. Carry out anti-termite treatment of the WORKSITE, to free the area and ward- off the future construction of any infestation of termites, insects, larvae etc., as required, and employing an approved applicator for carrying out the same,according to the instruction of PWA.

General Conditions
a) Tender documents will be released only to authorized company representatives with following documentations at Contracts & Engineering Business Affairs (CEBA)
(i) Letter of Authorisation on Company Letterhead
(ii) Valid Qatar I.D.
(iii) Valid copy of Commercial Registration (If applicable)
b) Non-refundable tender fee is payable as above to PWA Account No. (0013-001813-052), Qatar National Bank
c) Project document may be referring at Ashghal Tower, Ground Floor (Tender Issue office, CEBA), Al Corniche before purchasing from PWA.
d) The Tender shall be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes (technical and financial offer) and both envelopes must be enclosed in a third sealed envelope which shall bear the tender number, subject and closing date.
e) All Tenders shall be submitted in original and one copy or they will not be acceptance.
f) Tenders shall be delivered at or sent to arrive not later than 1.00pm local Doha time on the closing date and deposited in the relevant Tender Box of concerned Tenders Committee’s Chairman at PWA.
g) The successful Tenderer shall provide a Performance Bond in amount of ten (10%) percent of the Contract Price endorsed by a first class bank in Qatar
